Once you pass the park entrance take a right down towards the water. However, the road down to the tide pools is rather steep and long so I suggest spending the extra two dollars to take a car as opposed walking down or riding a bike. It is $5 per car or $3 per person if you choose to walk in. Upon entering the park you will have to pay a fee to get down to the tide pools. Continue along that road as far as it goes and you will come to the Cabrillo National Monument.
